EA Sports will roll out FIFA 18 World Cup mode starting on May 29
The 2018 FIFA World Cup itself begins on June 14 and runs until July 15. But on May 29th 2018, all owners of EA SPORTS FIFA 18 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will be able to download a free 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia content update, giving fans the chance to guide their nation to glory! The update will also be available on FIFA Mobile on June 6th.
According to an EA SPORTS press release, the “2018 FIFA World Cup Russia” mode will allow you to play through the entire 32-nation World Cup, have the option to customize the tournamen to include nations that didn't qualify. All 23 stadiums will be in the game, along with immersive atmospheres and a new graphic and broadcast package that “will deliver a complete and authentic tournament experience through official FIFA World Cup elements, including authentic teams, kits, badges, Official Match Ball and the Official Winner’s Trophy."
